What materials are used to make your products?

All of our sports balls are constructed of high-gloss synthetic leather. Basketballs and footballs also have synthetic pebble leather on panels that do not contain photos.

What are the measurements and weights of each sports ball?

  • Baseballs: 2.687” diameter; 5 oz.
  • Softballs: 3.82” diameter; 6 oz.
  • Regulation Size Footballs: 11.75” length; 12 oz.
  • Regulation Size Basketballs: 9” diameter; 1 lb. 6 oz.
  • Volleyballs: 8.4” diameter; 10 oz.
  • Soccer Balls: 9” diameter; 12 oz.
    • Hockey Pucks: 2.875” diameter; 1” thick; 5 oz.

How long is delivery time?

Currently, production and delivery is approximately 4-5 weeks.

What size and type of files do I need to upload for my photos to print clearly?

We ask that everything is uploaded in 150 dpi or higher to ensure clear photos when printing. We can accept .jpg, .png, or .tif files. Please make sure photos have an actual size of at least 3” x 3”.

Can the sports balls be used for play?

While our sports balls can be used for play, we suggest that they be used as more of a collectors’ item to preserve the quality and integrity of the products and photos. The high-gloss synthetic leather can make products more slippery than usual.

What if I’m ordering for an entire team, league, school, etc?

If you’re ordering a larger quantity of products or placing an order for an organization, we suggest that you check out the “Fundraisers” or “Photographers” section of our website to learn more about discounted pricing and other deals that we can offer.

Can I use copyrighted or trademarked materials?

We cannot print copyrighted or trademarked logos or slogans without the express written consent of the proper licensing entity. Please see our Disclaimers and Terms & Agreements section for more information on this.

Can I change the color of the stitching of my baseball or softball?

At this time, we currently offer red stitching for our baseballs and our softballs.

Can I use more than one picture on the ball?

Yes, since our sports balls are full coverage, you can put as many photos on a ball as you see fit. Please be sure to note the size and resolution of these photos while uploading to ensure full quality printing. Please also be sure to note the cropping lines so that an important piece of your art will not be cut off.

Can I change my order?

Once your order has been purchased, you cannot make changes to your artwork or to your order.

Will all pictures be accepted?

Any picture that is considered lewd or offensive will not be accepted and makeaball.com has the right to refuse production of this product.

What is your return policy?

If makeaball.com makes an error in production or quality, then a full credit will be issued. However, if the user makes any error with art, spelling, layout, or design, makeaball.com will not be responsible for these errors and cannot issue a refund. How long will my images be saved?

If you purchase a product from our website, images will be saved in your locker up to one year from the date of purchase. If you have created an account, but not made a purchase, images can be saved in your locker for up to 6 weeks. In order to save your

Can I pay extra to rush the order?

You cannot pay extra to rush your order. Orders take approximately three to four weeks for production and will then be shipped. You may pay additional fees to upgrade the delivery method, but we cannot decrease production time. If you are a fundraiser or photographer, please Contact us to determine if this is available.

Will my online orders be secure?

Yes, all of your online orders will be 100% secure. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.

Can you ship outside the continental United States?

Yes, we can ship to Alaska and Hawaii as well as internationally. Unfortunately, we cannot shop to AFO or P.O. Boxes as we are unable to efficiently track these packages.

What is Custom Image Technology (CIT)?

Custom Image Technology is a technology that is exclusive to makeaball.com. It is a process that allows us to place images on any sports ball with the exact replication and clarity of the original photograph. This process produces items of high quality and photos that will not fade, crack, warp or peel over time.

I’m having problems getting my photos to upload. What do I do?

Please be sure to check all cables and power cords. Make sure all are attached properly to cameras, scanners, and/or electrical outlets and verify that all are in good working condition. Please also be sure that your file is being uploaded in the correct size and format. We ask that everything is uploaded in 150 dpi or higher to ensure clear photos when printing.
